Welcome to the website of the Big Bang JB.

Traditional Jazz is alive and well. It's been nearly a century since Louis Armstrong and Sidney Bechet defined the form, and a half century since Lu Watters and Turk Murphy redefined it. This group of twentysomethings follow humbly in those footsteps, playing red hot traditional jazz with vigor and drive. Part New Orleans, part West Coast, part Canadiana; fresh energy and new ideas make for some dangerously explosive music.
